What motivates your creativity?

"Be concerned, not worried. Worry simply borrows anticipated pain from the future and dumps it on today, much which will never come true. It robs us of today’s joy. Concern is proper preparation and care for today."

This quote came across my email. It is a good reminder to live in the moment but not in the clouds. It also made me thing about motivation and creativity. If I can worry enough to create great stories or even horror plots from my worst case scenario worries, then what emotions do I channel to be creative in designing training and eLearning?

For me, it is the anticipation (and worry) of realizing a vision or resolving a problem I saw in a class or online program. I see it as deflecting unrealistic worry to what could be called productive worry - how do I get from here to the end goal? What emotions fuel your creativity?
